- Best Thesis Award: For the Bachelor thesis “Understanding Heuristics and Constraint Satisfaction Problem”, January 2004 in AIUB.

- ACM Programming: Solved 170+ problems (all during bachelor studies) on algorithms in the ACM Valladolid online problem set. Placed in top 10 in national programming contests.
